As a homeschool mom, lunch is probably my least favorite meal. We are a cold cereal and Pop-Tart with the occasional pancakes/bacon/eggs kinda breakfast family. Generally speaking, my children make their own breakfasts. But by lunch they typically want something hot, which means either my oldest fixes lunch for them or I have to stop teaching to make lunch. And let’s face it, sometimes we’re on a roll and I don’t want to stop teaching!
I don’t usually eat lunch until about 2pm, but kids seem to be hungry by noon! So what can we do to make lunch easier on everyone? As I was looking for good homeschool lunch ideas, I was surprised this was such a hot topic. I found some great resources on creating spaces for kids to make or plan their own lunches, as well as ideas for making lunches ahead of time and more! I hope you enjoy and these help you all too!
