Children need to learn about the different community workers that do an amazing job of helping to keep community running. With these free community helpers printables, children will have fun and work on their fine motor skills all while learning about these important jobs that they may one day be part of.
Community Helpers Clothing
This hands-on printable pack contains twenty-four different occupations for children to learn about, such as a firefighter, police officer, chef, waiter and judge. This free Community Helpers Clothing Printables comes in both color and black and white versions. All parts of this pack can be laminated for durability and Velcro dots could be added to the back of the name cards and the outfit cards and the front of the people mats.
Once printed and all the parts cut out, children will enjoy choosing a person they want to ‘dress’ in the appropriate attire for their job. Then it is time to choose a name card, which contains the name of an occupation, that they will place in the rectangular box underneath their chosen person.
Once this is done, it is time to dress their person. As they search through all the outfits in this printable pack, they find the clothes that suit the occupation and place them onto their person. They could then draw this person, clothes and all or just practice writing the occupation. If they wanted to, they could research and learn more about this occupation before moving onto dressing their person again.
