Snow and ice are great themes to study with winter approaching. Whether you are in a place that receives lots of snow or in a place, like me, that receives no snow at all, learning about snow and different types of snowflakes is easy with this fun All About Snow Study.
All About Snow Study
In this printable pack, children will learn about snow, blizzards, snowstorms, icicles and snowflakes as well as snow. There is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about symmetry while they are drawing the symmetrical half of eight different snowflakes.
As part of this pack, children will learn about different types of snowflakes. There is a poster that shows twelve different types of snowflakes as well as a seven -page flip book.
Also included are many activities about the snow cycle. There is a poster showing the different stages of the snow cycle, a cut and paste activity, a printable mini book and a worksheet for children to complete after researching the snow cycle.
