They say that laughter is the best medicine. There is truth to this, even in the context of your homeschool. Laughter can diffuse a stressful day and bring a smile to a sad child. These FREE printable joke cards for your children can make their day just a little better and relieve some tension.
I absolutely LOVE to laugh, especially with my kids. There were many years that I hardly ever laughed. Life was such that I saw more of a cloud rather than joy. It was extremely difficult for me to let laughter out when deep sorrow seemed to control things around me.
Rough times take their toll on our ability to release laughter. While my kids are young I want to take every opportunity to make them laugh. They surely take every opportunity to make me laugh. What joy our children bring us. Would you not give anything to hear their laugh?
These little joke cards are just a little sweet gesture we can do to make them smile and laugh just a little more. They will have enough serious moments in life, but now… now is their time to laugh with tears and belly laugh ‘til the cows come home. Laughter is indeed the best medicine, and hearing our kids laugh is a blessing.
Tuck these between your child’s folded clothes, between pages in their notebooks, or in a place that you know your child will find it.
