My children are fascinated by woodland creatures. We camp often so we are always on the look out for the different animals when we are out hiking and exploring in the forest.
If your kids love animals as much as mine do, they will enjoy doing a unit study and habitat study on these creatures. These would be great to do before a big campout or visit to a National Forest.
