3D Shapes are a great way to introduce geometry to young children. They are a lot of fun to learn about as well!
I found a great printable pack from Math Geek Mama that can incorporate your young children and your older children that are taking Geometry to learn about 3D shapes at the same time. The whole family can participate in this activity. All you need to do is print the shapes on sturdy paper, cut them out, color them and assemble them. You can have them label the different parts of the shapes before assembling to make it easier to put together. This is also a great way to introduce some math vocabulary.
You can find these free printables and detailed directions on how to use this activity HERE.
