If you’re like my family, we have been passing around the dreaded winter cold and sinus crud for weeks. In years past, I would’ve run my kids to the doctor to get meds, because they usually go in to a respiratory infection. However, this year we have gone the more natural route and used a mixture of oils, and natural remedies. With winter in full swing, I thought now was the perfect time to share some natural remedies with you all.

Most families deal with winter colds and coughs that seem to linger for weeks, even months. If you're looking for a different solution this year, check out these home remedies for colds, coughs and flu! :: www.homeschoolgiveaways.com

Again, I asked the blogging community for some tried and true recipes and they came through! I love asking other bloggers for recipes, because I know they have used them with their own families, so they work! Some of these you may know about and some may be new to you. Either way, I hope they help you and your family this winter.
