Art projects are always a hit in my homeschool. I have to admit that I don’t do a lot of art because I have no artistic bone in my body. When I actually do art with the kids, they eat it up. If your kids love art projects, like mine, they will really enjoy painting with yarn.
Painting with yarn is a unique art project in that you can leave the assignment open-ended. You provide the supplies for kids and instruct your kids to paint their canvas with yarn and paint. Your kids will probably be troubled about what you want.
When you let them know that they are free to pick and choose their colors and color with the yarn as they see fit, you will be surprised at how much they will get into their yarn paint creations.
Check out Fantastic Fun and Learning for step-by-step instructions on painting with yarn.
