Before your kids can learn the mathematical definition and how to use the Distributive Property you need to make sure they have an everyday definition and understanding of the word distribute.

If you don’t have an actual Algebra class you are teaching you can still use these hands on examples with your entire family. This is a fun way to help them to understand exactly how it works.
