My girls love studying about animals. I wanted to teach them more about animal classification so I started searching for some fun printables and activities to help them understand. I found lots of FREE printables, worksheets, fun websites and activities to learn about Animal Classification and the Animal Kingdom!

Pete’s Power Point Station has free presentations and activities for kids on every subject you can think of!
There is an entire page devoted to the Animal Kingdom! There are free power point presentations on the Animal Kingdom, Classification of Animals, and Sorting Classes. There are interactive activities for kids and a section devoted to teachers with animal videos, free clip art and much more!


Wildscreen Arkive is a website devoted to Educational Science Resources for children ages 11-14.
If you scroll halfway down the home page you will see a section on Classification. Students learn about why species are classified and the characteristics of animals. There are teachers notes, a classroom presentation, and a Guess Zoo Classification card game.

Exploring Nature  is a Natural Science Resource for students and educators. 
There is a quiz page for Animal Classes and a page on Classification of Living Things with free printables, hand outs and teaching aids and a beautiful Animal Kingdom diagram.
