Oceania is such a beautiful place, filled with white sandy beaches, coral reefs and volcanic islands. Learning about this area in the Pacific Ocean is a wonderful way to learn about different cultures and their way of life. Children will love learning with these two fun Oceania Research Flip Books.

Oceania Research Flip Books

There are two flip books, one that focuses on the countries in Oceania, while the second book focuses on the territories and dependencies in Oceania. After researching each of the countries, territories and dependencies, children will complete each flip book, with details on different aspects of each of the places such as the:

  • Population
  • Currency
  • Capital
  • Languages
  • Land Area
  • Religions
  • Flag Facts
  • Landmarks and other interesting facts

Oceania Countries Flip Book

This is the first of two flip books. This book focuses on learning about the fourteen different countries that are located in Oceania. These countries include:

  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Fiji
  • Papua New Guinea
  • Samoa
  • Tonga
  • Vanuatu
  • Kiribati
  • Marshall Islands
  • Micronesia
  • Nauru
  • Solomon Islands,
  • Tuvalu
  • Palau

Oceania Territories and Dependencies Flip Book

This second flip book focuses on learning about the nine territories and dependencies:

  • Cook Islands
  • Guam
  • French Polynesia
  • New Caledonia
  • Niue
  • American Samoa
  • Tokelau
  • Wallis and Futuna
  • Northern Mariana Islands

Oceania Research Flip Books

Also included with these flip books are information pages, one for each for the fourteen countries as well as one for each of the nine territories and dependencies. There are also information pages for three other islands located in the Pacific Ocean – Norfolk Island, Wave Island and Pitcairn Island. The last page of the Territories and Dependencies flip book is a page for children to write interesting facts that they have learnt while researching these places. This page could also be used to write some fun facts about these three islands, if your children wish to do this.
