If you have a child that loves horses, you can turn their love of horses into a love of reading and learning. When I find something that my children are passionate about I love to use their interests to encourage them in their studies at home.
I have a daughter who struggled with reading for a long time, but she absolutely loved horses and would enjoy reading anything she could about them. Thankfully, there is so much classic literature about horses that it is very easy to give her books and literature studies for school that she would enjoy.
If you have children that love horses, pick some classics for them, pair them with these unit studies and printables for a wonderful child led literature curriculum!
