From a group of volunteer women to career soldiers and top-ranking generals, the bravery of so many Americans during World War II is worth remembering and sharing. Introduce your students to ten of these famous men and women with this FREE World War II Guided Drawing unit.

Some were career soldiers. Others were everyday people who found themselves fighting in a war they never planned for. Some were volunteers. One was a journalist. Each of these men and women displayed bravery and courage in the face of obstacles most of us could never begin to imagine.

With this FREE World War II Guided Drawing unit, students have the chance to:

  • learn about each of these ten Americans
  • practice drawing either half or all of a picture of each of them on a grid
  • take a quick review quiz at the end if they like
