FREE Subject and Predicate Writing Game

Every sentence has to have a subject and a predicate to make a complete sentence. I have one daughter who loves math, but doesn’t love anything to do with language arts or writing.
We have been working on learning about subjects and predicates, which is an important part of the writing process. It is also a precursor to diagramming sentences and is something that needs to be learned right away in the early grammar stages. If your child struggles with grasping complete sentences, or just thinks that Language Arts is boring then you may want to mix it up with a fun game. I love this writing game from Teach Me Mommy. This game uses subjects and predicates that are written down on popsicle sticks and sorted. The student then draws their popsicle sticks from the cups and creates fun sentences with them.
