Reading is a meaning-making experience. A student may be able to decode words efficiently but may strive to comprehend the text. Reading comprehension activities can help!
In these non-fiction reading passages, students learn about different animals. Where do they live? What do they eat? How do they look like? Each reading passage has around 120 words and perfect for first-grade students. After reading students encourage to find out more about each animal and answer three questions.
