Purim, begins at sunset on March 11th and ends on Sunday evening, March 12th. It celebrates the deliverance of the Jewish people from the plan of evil Haman to annihilate them completely. Queen Esther demonstrated courage when she placed the good of her people over the safety of her own life, and Haman was overthrown. The thrilling story can be found in the book of Esther in the Bible, and you can study it with your children with the free Purim Unit Study!
