These free sorting mats are perfect for helping kids learn the sounds of short and long vowels. These mats will help our kids listen to the vowel sounds within the words they are learning.

To make the activity more challenging, you can give your child more than two mats at a time. They can even sort pictures for all five short or long vowels. There are so many possibilities with this set that it can keep your kids busy for some time.
