Grammar. Did I just hear you groan when I said that? Grammar isn’t often at the top of the list of kids’ favorite subjects. But grammar doesn’t have to be boring or tedious. You can have a great deal of fun with it while learning why it is so important with this FREE Pick the Punctuation Board Game.

Pick the Punctuation Board Game

In this FREE Pick the Punctuation Board Game designed for early elementary students, kids have the chance to look at a sentence with a missing period, comma, apostrophe, question mark, exclamation point, or quotation mark.

Their job is to spot what is missing. If they do, they move to that punctuation mark on the game board. If they land on a happy punctuation mark, they are happy. If they land on a sad punctuation mark, they have to move back one space.

One hundred sentence cards are included, plus blank cards so you can customize the game to work alongside whatever curriculum you are using.

All you need is a file folder, some buttons or markers, and a student (or three or four!). It’s a quick, easy way to add some fun to grammar and help sharpen your kids’ language arts and observation skills all at the same time.
