As our children get older, free curriculum helps seem to be harder to come by. I am always looking for free resources to help supplement what we are learning in our homeschool. I like searching for supplements because they help make my jobs as a busy mom easier.
Sometimes we can get stuck in a bit of a rut, when school gets a little bit harder as our children age up. The fun, hands-on activities seem to get boring, and less exciting. Grammar is one of those subjects that just starts to look way too much like textbooks and workbooks as they get older. I like to mix up what we are learning with some free printables. These are fun to pull out when our homeschool seems to be in a funk.
They also work great if your children are “stuck”. There is nothing wrong with shelving something for a little bit, while you search for a different way to learn. Sometimes free printables help give a whole new perspective, and can breathe new life into a dry subject. If you have a child that is out of the early grammar stage, and into upper elementary, you should find these free grammar printables helpful!
