Using Counting Mats

By using counting mats, children will be working on their fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, concentration and maths skills.

To make these mats more durable, laminate them. By doing this, these mats will be durable, making them able to be used multiple times with all your children.

With these free counting mats, children can use the included counters, reading the number and then placing the correct number of counters onto the mats. To help increase their fine motor skills, have them use playdough to create balls, objects or make their own counters; let their imagination run wild! It will get them excited about learning. If you are in need of a fun playdough recipe, why not try this one made with crayons, or this edible playdough.
