Who hasn’t wondered what life was really like in the days of the American West or imagined themselves riding the range or trying to make a home in an untamed land? This FREE American West Research & Notebooking Unit gives students the chance to learn about 40 men and women who made history in the American West.
As they do independent research, they’ll learn and record:

- the state(s)/territory(ies) each person lived or worked in
- each person’s significant contributions to history
