Stress happens. Many of us go through life day in and day out with some stress that affects us in different ways. Kids living with dyslexia can experience exceptionally high-level stress and anxiety that can be hard to understand for the layperson.
Stress is a normal part of life for all people. However, people with dyslexia can experience high levels of stress and anxiety in ways you may not realize. Here are some tips for homeschooling with anxiety.
We learn to form our own system for dealing with stress that may not always be so productive. The fight or flight reflex to some stress is meant to protect us from harm.
It is important that we, as parents, provide our children with productive ways to deal with stress. We can simultaneously work on this ourselves.
It is important that we get our kids tested, that we get educate don dyslexia and its impacts, preparing for the stress, enlisting help and more.
