To help the children in our lives remember the importance of Passover and what Jesus did for us, I created this set of Passover copywork Bible verses.

Passover Copywork

The importance of Passover is one that is repeated throughout both the Old and New Testaments. God used Passover as a symbol to show us what would one day take place–His Son would become the ultimate, final sacrifice. The Lamb of God, who, as John the Baptist said, “taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29 KJV).

Passover had its beginnings in the days of the Exodus. The three verses included in this copywork unit are drawn from both the Old and New Testaments to show part of the big picture God has revealed to us.

  • Exodus 12:13-14 shows the beginning of Passover.
  • John 1:29 shares John the Baptist’s declaration of who Jesus is.
  • I Corinthians 5:7-8 speaks of Jesus as our passover.
  • All verses are from the King James Version.
