History of Wars Printable Cheat Sheets

Do your kids ever get wars mixed up when you are learning history? It’s not always easy to keep the War of Spanish Succession and the War of the Austrian Succession straight. Who was fighting whom, and when were they fighting?

For example, they’ve probably studied the French and Indian War, but do they know about King Philip’s War, King William’s War, the Yamasee War, and Father Rale’s War, which were just a few of the wars fought in the colonies before that?

How to Use:

Students can use them as a handy reference guide or as a springboard for further study. They could choose five wars they are not familiar with and research them. They could research all the wars on the lists that pertain to a certain country or region. The possibilities are endless.

There are two sets of cheat sheets to download. The United States at War Cheat Sheets pertain only to wars fought in or by the United States, including wars in the colonies before the nation was independent.

Wars Around the World Cheat Sheets include wars fought on six continents as well as in the Caribbean and South Pacific.

There are more than 225 wars, conflicts, and rebellions listed, with the major focus being on wars fought in the past 2,000 years.
