Tropical birds are so beautiful and unique! They are a lot of fun to learn about. Grab these free resources including tropical birds copywork, drawing, worksheets and even a crossword page to add to your homeschool lessons.

Tropical birds are very brightly colored, and have long bills to help them break up nuts, seeds and fruits. They are omnivores that also eat small insects and lizards. You will not see these birds in a regular backyard habitat, though there are some species that can be found wild in South Florida. 

Wild, tropical birds are found in very warm climates and are often raised as pets. They are extremely smart, can learn tricks and learn how to copy words and even talk! They are also very noisy!
