These spelling lists are too useful to ignore. The free spelling lessons cover academic subjects taught at particular grade levels (for example, the 5th grade spelling list includes 5th grade science words). Your homeschool might not follow these specific levels; however, the lists also include Fry’s 1,000 most commonly used English words. Word knowledge is something that can help your homeschooler to build their vocabulary and to broaden their communication skills.
