How many times a day do you hear “I’m bored”? I know my kids utter those words at least ten times a day, especially during the summer. No matter what exciting things we have planned or how much we try to get them to play outside, sometimes they run out of things to do!
During rainy summer days, or when my kids have just run out of things to do, we turn to crafts! They love playing with their LEGO bricks together and will spend hours building towns, parks and creating scenarios together.
My kids truly are each other’s best friends and will play together nicely…until they don’t. Then we need to separate them and find a different activity. Crafts and drawing/art have been a life saver for us. My kids aren’t all crafty, but they all love to color and create their own worlds through drawings.
And even though I am not a crafty mom, on occasion I find that crafts are a great way to pass the time. Plus, it gets them away from sitting in front of the TV. All of these crafts are easy enough for kids to do and will keep them entertained all summer long! Here are 25 summer crafts for kids.
