I think there is something in every child that is drawn to fairy tales. Your kids may imagine themselves the beautiful princess or the dashing prince. They may have fun imagining the strange little creatures that populate fairy tales. But whatever part of the fairy tale your kids are drawn to, there is almost always something there for everyone. Help your kids enjoy some hands-on fun while practicing some simple reading comprehension with this FREE Cut & Paste Fun with Fairy Tales unit.
Each activity in this FREE Cut & Paste Fun with Fairy Tales begins with a short retelling of the story. Next are six pictures illustrating five of the characters or objects mentioned plus one that does not belong. Kids can read the stories or listen as you read them and then try to choose the five things that were mentioned. Then they cut out the pictures and glue them to the worksheet. You can use the color version or print the black and white version so they can color the pictures first if you prefer.
Seven fairy tales are included:
- Alice in Wonderland
- Cinderella
- The Emperor’s New Clothes
- Goldilocks and the Three Bears
- Jack and the Beanstalk
- Little Red Riding Hood
- Rapunzel
