FREE Charlotte Mason Phonics Curriculum for Elementary:

Under the Home 3-Year Phonics Program (K-2) Word Mastery

This phonics curriculum is divided into sections, with each section focusing on a key reading or pre-reading skill. The first section is all about training ears to hear various letter sounds. Next is tongue training where kids practice pronouncing words that include various sounds or combinations of sounds. The third section combines ear and tongue training.

The final two sections move from eye training, teaching kids to recognize letters and associate them with the sounds they make, to word building and early reading. This is the section where kids get lots of practice sounding words out and mastering what they have learned. The lessons are broken down as follows:

  • Lessons 1-22: ear training, including many with “The Three Little Pigs”
  • Lessons 23-46: tongue training
  • Lessons 47-82: ear and tongue training
  • Lessons 83-109: eye training
  • Lessons 110-232: word building

The incredible thing is that this phonics curriculum is available online and is completely FREE! It’s so well organized and includes many fun games and activities for a winning combination. Click here for free phonics curriculum
