You have probably heard the phrase “Seven Wonders of the World” before, but did you know there are several “categories” of “wonders?” We really enjoy studying about geography in our homeschool and the “Seven Wonders of the Natural World” are very fascinating and point to an incredible Creator who is truly such a beautiful artist.
How about adding some interesting geographic facts about these wonders to your reading comprehension lessons? These breathtaking natural landscapes will capture your student’s attention and teach them facts they will want to remember!
The Seven Wonders of the Natural World that are covered in this FREE reading comprehension geography unit are:
- aurora borealis
- Mount Everest
- Victoria Falls
- Harbor of Rio de Janeiro

You will discover much debate and contradiction in regards to the Seven Wonders of the Natural World if you do a search on the Internet. We are not taking sides here, we are using just one of the many lists available. Either way, the ecological wonders we have included are truly spectacular and will leave you speechless if you ever saw them in real life.
Reading comprehension lessons have been a lifesaver in my homeschool. Since I like to correlate everything we are learning with resources that reinforce specific topics, we have come up with other reading comprehension printable packs that we also offer free for our subscribers.
