Each read aloud story is written to be used with your entire family in five lessons. Each lesson has key terms, map points, timeline, and video links. This free unit study will teach you about major historical civil rights events, including the Birmingham campaign, Montgomery bus boycott, and Selma to Montgomery march. You will also learn how King worked to change civil rights laws with Presidents Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, and Lyndon B. Johnson.
