Maine is one of those elusive states. It way up there in the Northeast corner of the United States and somehow gets overlooked by so many. However, it is one of the few states I am dying to see. I want to see the lighthouses, the coast, the wooded areas and the beauty the state has to offer. I have several friends who live in Maine and their pictures are amazing!

I have gathered everything you need to teach and learn about the great state of Maine. :: www.homeschoolgiveaways.com

Unfortunately, we won’t make it there on our travels this year, as it is getting colder and RV parks are not easy to find in the fall/winter season that far north. However, it is on our docket for next Summer and I can hardly wait!

Learn more about the state of Maine with these great resources. Each state has a history, fun facts and wonderful sites to see. Over the next year, I will be sharing resources – printables, travel destinations and food favorites – from each state.
