Of all the freebies I’ve passed along to you, this is one of my favorites! I have always felt that while the stars and the night sky are beautiful, to identify and draw an imaginary line between the stars to form a constellation is difficult. Maybe it’s the linear way that my mind works, but it looks like a group of twinkly lights to me, not a belt or a “W.”
Whether or not this is how your child thinks, this paper craft is fun and brings a bit of the wonder of the night sky indoors. You print, cut, fold, tape, prick, and then add a little LED candle. It’s simple, yet effective at helping your child to see and learn the constellations!
