This is our Fifth and Final Post in our Themed History Series!

My girls just love studying about the Pioneer Days! We have an Old Florida Museum here in town that has a homeschool day. The entire place is set up with actors, activities and lots of hands on experiences which really make History come alive. If you ever have an opportunity to attend something like that you have to check it out! It really opened my girls’ eyes to how difficult it must have been to grow up like that. I do think they thought it was a lot of fun too though, I mean really, what little girl doesn’t want to gather eggs everyday and write with a quill ink pen?!?
