When you work on phonics, digraphs and words, your children may get confused if they aren’t reading them in the proper context. There are so many sounds and things to remember it can get confusing. This is why in phonics, practice makes perfect.

I love these free sentence reading printables from A Teachable Teacher. There are targeted sentences for over 100 phonics skills for your children to practice. There are picture hints that can help your kids if they are getting stuck on a specific sentence. They also help them to build their confidence as they are reading. There are so many pages for plenty of practice. The more they practice reading and working on these sentences, the easier reading and reading comprehension will be.
