Our homeschool spaces are as varied as the families who use them.
Some are tidy and impeccably decorated, some are super functional but small. There are dining room table homeschoolers, RV homeschoolers, outdoor homeschoolers, school room homeschoolers, and everything in between!
In the twelve years we’ve homeschooled, we’ve gone from having a dedicated school room to gathering at the dining room table to everyone spread throughout the house. Every season seems to bring its own needs and challenges.
That flexibility and moxie is part of what makes homeschooling amazing – being able to customize the learning and the physical space to our kids’ needs.
Homeschooling is the ultimate DIY labor of love.
But the space really isn’t as important as the love of learning we share with our kids. It’s the relationships that are formed over the years as we spend the best hours of our days with them.
And the best thing about your space is the way you make it work for your family. Because your kids and your homeschool space are unique.
