I recently learned the extent of fibromyalgia while my eldest daughter was managing a website for people living with it. I knew nothing about it before, but now that I know, my heart goes out to all those living with this debilitating disorder. Surviving homeschooling while you are living with fibromyalgia isn’t easy and can seem near impossible depending on the day and intensity of the flare up.
It can leave you thinking it would be easier to give up on homeschool altogether. It can leave you doubting yourself and feeling like you will fail and bring your kids down with you.
How is it that people live with this debilitating illness that has no known cure, and lives with the pain and flare-ups? They get up every morning, in the midst of pain, and fight through it because they have no other choice. It is quite fascinating to me.
