Bring elements of the HEAT method to your homeschool’s book talks with this free graphic organizer template. Traditional book talks are a little outdated as kids are getting more and more creative. Traditional talks included introducing themselves, stating the book title, telling a fact about the book, and encouraging the audience to read the book. However, this resource takes a look at each of the elements of the HEAT (Hook, Energy, Audience, and Time) method.
