I grew up listening to the stories of Peter Rabbit and his adventures. I loved them so much that when I was an adult and I had a bunny of my own, I named her Flopsy Mopsy. One of my children struggled with reading so we spent her entire first grade year listening to audiobooks. She listened to all of the stories from Beatrix Potter and enjoyed them so much! I think that these wholesome stories of woodland animals behaving like humans are just the sweetest stories that you can read to your little ones.
