When you see a mom who has been homeschooling for years, you tend to look up to her. You wonder how she does it, and you admire her for sticking to it for so long. The truth is, even the veteran homeschool mom could use some encouragement sometimes.
My friends had been homeschooling for years, even a decade, before I started homeschooling. They gave me all the encouragement I needed to start and helped me pick materials.
After a year or so, I realized that just because you homeschool for decades, it doesn’t mean that you will OK every day. You may actually be considered an expert. You may not, however, be immune from dry spells, from stressful days, from anxiety, worry, or bad days.
So, to the veteran homeschool mom, these tips will help you keep moving forward regardless of the pressure, regardless of the weight on your shoulders you may carry. Give the load to our Creator and be renewed.
