Many families are busy this time of year planning for the new school year. You may be helping your kids choose their subjects and courses, but have you ever wondered – do they know why working with excellence is so important? Do they have goals for the new school year? Do they know how to express them if they do? Here’s a FREE Copywork & Goal Sheets tool that can help your kids express their goals, personalize their planners, practice their handwriting, and commit key Bible verses to heart.
This unit starts with goals and why they are important. Students copy I Corinthians 9:24 and Colossians 3:23. After that, they copy verses on eleven different subjects:
- Art (Exodus 31:1-5)
- Bible (John 1:1)
- Civics (Isaiah 9:6)
- Economics (Mark 12:43-44)
- Foreign Language (Revelation 7:9)
- Health (I Corinthians 6:19)
- History and Geography (Acts 17:26-27)
- Language Arts (Habakkuk 2:2)
- Math (Numbers 2:32)
- Music (Psalm 95:1)
- Science (Romans 1:20)
Following the copywork for each verse, students have space to record what they want to learn about in that subject next year and what their personal goals are for the subject.
All verses are from the King James Version of the Bible.
Each page is bordered with a decorative design. They would make excellent dividers between subjects in a student’s planner. They can also help encourage your students to continue doing their best and persevering, even in the difficult subjects.
Plus, since these FREE Copywork & Goal Sheets are divided by subject, you can print just the ones your student needs for the coming year. There are 40 pages in all. Download yours today!
These go great with all the other FREE homeschool binder resources we’ve rounded up for you. Take a look!
