More about Ocean Anatomy
In this unit, students will use a combination of written narration, drawing, and labeling alongside Ocean Anatomy: The Curious Parts & Pieces of the World Under the Sea by Julia Rothman to learn all about life in the ocean, layers of the ocean, the ocean floor, coral reefs, tide pools, and much more.
Many homeschooling families incorporate the study of ocean life into their lessons. We are so excited that Storey Publishing has released Ocean Anatomy and are looking forward to using it in our studies.
Because Ocean Anatomy joins a series of books that include Nature Anatomy, Farm Anatomy, and more, which are popular books on homeschool shelves, we have created a notebook to accompany it, with the publisher’s permission.
This notebook will follow along with the topics in the book and include places for written narration of information read, sketches of objects found in the ocean, labeling and diagramming, and more.
We have included links in the Ocean Notebook for extra free printables and resources to expand your study on individual topics.
Like our other open & go curriculum, there is no prep-work involved – you simply grab your copy of the book and your notebooking journal and work at your own pace.
We also have notebook companions for Nature Anatomy and Farm Anatomy. Click here to view them.
