Learning about natural disasters is a great way to teach our children about the major weather events that can make the national news. We don’t live in an area that is normally prone to huge tornadoes, but we do get small tornado sightings after a big thunderstorm or hurricane.
Unit studies are a great way to pick a topic of interest and learn more about it and tie it in to other subjects, like science. We have been busy creating many different weather resources for you to use to make your own unit studies. This week we have an instant download and a round up of free printables that you can use to make a nice informative unit study all about tornadoes.
