Do your kids ever get tired simply telling you what they’ve learned? Would they enjoy a way to get up and show you instead? That’s why we created these FREE Printable Narration Activities & Prompts

Free Printable Narration Cards Activities & Prompts

FREE Printable Narration Activities & Prompts

These FREE Printable Narration Activities & Prompts are designed for elementary students, and the best part is, they can be used with almost any subject! History, science, reading, and more can all be covered with this fun set.

Oral narration is great for young children and elementary aged kids when you are using living books or a text of some sort, but sometimes it’s fun to add in a narration activity.

If you want to add in written narration to your studies, some of the printable narration cards will provide writing prompts that you can use to get the creative juices flowing.

From creating puzzles for someone else to solve, creating something they learned out of building blocks, or other fun activities, these narration activities and prompts can provide tons of fun!

How to Use

Simply print the sheets and cut them apart. You’ll find two sets in the download – one set has 2 prompts per page while the other set has the same prompts arranged 4 per page. Print whichever style works for you.

Cut them apart and place them in a box or basket. Each time a narration assignment comes up, have your student draw an activity to do.

It’s a fun way to bring narration to life (plus many of the activities provide movement breaks for your active learners).
