Have you ever heard of Queen Homeschool Supplies?

We use Queen Homeschool Curriculum for Language Arts, Copywork, Spelling, History, and Vocabulary. NEVER would I think that I would become a Charlotte Mason curriculum user. I associate Charlotte Mason Style homeschooling with nature study. Since I am not an out-doorsy person and it is normally too hot and humid where I live for me to enjoy being outside, I never considered that the other aspects of if would be so enjoyable!
Queen Homeschool Supplies has brought joy back into our homeschool.

Goodbye tears…Goodbye whining…Goodbye begging to skip a lesson!

My seventh grade daughter is doing Queen’s “A Living History of our World Volume 1”, “Language Lessons for the Secondary Child Volume 1”, and the Our Beautiful America Thematic Copywork by Queen Homeschool Supplies.

So, what is copywork? Is it for improvement of pemanship? I thought so….now I know better! Copywork stresses attention to detail, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I have my daughter copy the selection in her best handwriting and if she makes ANY mistakes, she has to re-do the ENTIRE selection. This is an encouragement for her to really focus o what she is doing. The results have been amazing!

I really enjoy “A Living History of our World Volume 1”. It reads like a living book and is fun and engaging and the accompanying notebooking journal is great. We follow the narration prompts and if my daughter cannot accurately narrate what I read aloud to her, then she reads the entire part herself afterwards. This has only happened twice (honestly I think my tot was distracting her, lol).
