My kids are huge Star Wars fans. Our family has seen every movie and cartoon episode related to the phenomenon. Every year they would countdown the months and days until the next movie release. Though there are no new movies slated currently, we still enjoy random movie marathons so we can see our favorite Star Wars characters over and over again.

If you are looking for a Star wars theme for your next movie night or Star Wars party ideas you are going to love these Star Wars food ideas.

Star Wars Family

I have to admit that even I am Star Wars fan. And while I love the movies, characters and stories, I don’t even come close to their knowledge of all things Star Wars. That they get from my husband. My kids even enjoy learning the Star Wars language, isn’t that fun?!

Star Wars Day

One weekend our family always celebrates is around May 4th – otherwise known as Star Wars Day. If you’re not a fan of the movie, that won’t make sense, but trust me…it’s a big deal. It is an unofficial holiday for fans. If it falls on a weekend, you better believe we will be planning to watch the movies all weekend long.

We like to incorporate fun Star Wars crafts, and Star Wars printables, and lots of Star Wars party food to celebrate Star Wars Day!
