Fun and Easy Upcycled Patriotic Crafts for Kids

Get ready for the 4th of July with some fun and easy patriotic crafts for kids. These are the best kind because you won’t need to run out to the store and purchase new materials. These projects use upcycled supplies, so you can feel confident letting your kids create, knowing that they’re having fun plus you’re reusing stuff that otherwise might be thrown away.

Patriotic Rag Wreath

If you need a new wreath for your front door, grab the fabric scraps and show your kids how to make a rag wreath! This patriotic version uses red, white, and blue-themed fabrics for a fun flair. You can pull this wreath out for Memorial Day and Labor Day as well.

  • ribbon
  • glue

The only skills necessary to create a rag wreath are cutting and tying knots! So even your younger kids can help with this fun craft project.
