My girls love star gazing and looking at the night sky. They were so excited about the new rocket launches this year, and love watching the live streams of the shuttles launching from Cape Canaveral at the Kennedy Space Center. We have some wonderful family memories of star gazing on long summer nights when we go camping. It is amazing what you can see when you don’t have the city lights all around you. Learning about the night sky sparks many discussions to learn more about outer space. We like to do unit studies on things that spark the interest of my children.
