Life cycles are a great way to celebrate God’s creation. These free resources all about life cycles will help introduce your kids to God’s mighty hand in life.
In Psalm 104:14, we are told:
You (God) cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth.
From Creation, God made animals, then humans to have a life cycle. When we realize that before the Fall, Adam and Eve walked with God, it is safe to say that they may have lived forever.
Yet, now plants, animals, and humans alike come to be and then pass through this earth.
In the most simple form, we can help them see an animal or plant life cycle and teach them to appreciate God’s sovereignty and His Creation as a whole.
Probably, before you had kids and before you even thought about becoming a homeschool parent, I bet you didn’t think you would be talking about butterfly cocoons or ant larvae.
Well, here you are in the full bloom of educating your child, and yes, that includes talking about larva. It doesn’t stop there, I promise. Learning about lifecycles will be fun for you and the kids.
