Summer doesn’t officially start until near the end of June, but with most schools ending their year in May, Memorial Day weekend often ushers in the summer season. My kids love to swim any chance they get, which means we are always on the lookout for pool noodles.
The pool noodles are so versatile and can be used by all ages. My little ones love to hang on them as they learn to swim and my older kids find all kinds of (ahem) creative ways to play with them in the pool (and out). So when we see them, we usually stock up for a while.
One of our favorite places to find them is Dollar Tree because if they happen to get messed up or break, it’s only a $1 out of our budget. So what about when the summer season is over? Or you have one that gets ripped in half? Do you just throw it out?
With six kids you’d be surprised how many pool noodles we go through in a single season. We’ve used them for other purposes in the past, but I knew there had to be more. So I went on a hunt for some fun and creative pool noodle crafts you can make with your kids.
Whether you’re looking for a fun summer craft, DIY project for an activity or you’ve got some leftover pool noodles you need to use, check these out!
